What You Can expect from your photographer on your wedding day
The first thing to remember, this is your big day no one else’s. With that in mind I work mainly as a Documentary Wedding Photographer, with minimal interruption to your day. ​That doesn’t mean there will not be any posing at all, quite the opposite it’s about you and what you wish to take away as memories from the day. Below are some of the typical posed shots we will capture on the day, for the rest, I’ll capture the day naturally as moments happen.
Before the big day
We call or meet up in person to discuss the day, who will be coming, the running order and any important family dynamics we will need to know about.
Leading up to the ceremony
Once we arrive at the venue or location we will check in with the staff running your day and go over any details or requests you have made. Once done the cameras are out and we begin capturing the memories as they unfold.
from the ceremony to the first dance
We’ll typically try to get the group photographs taken asap after the ceremony starting with absolutely everyone and working down through the list until we’re left with just the couple. We then take the couple for the all important just married photos.
After the wedding
We will have a selection of 15 photos back to you within a few days of the wedding so you can post on social media. The full digital album will be available in 6-8 weeks time.
